January 9, 2019As much as I don't care about Smash as a whole as much as I did before and also would rather play games like Terraria, the Mega Man (X) games, Gunstar Heroes (I even just recently got an ad about that via Genesis Classics) , and Metroid games, Smash Ultimate doesn't deserve all this hate, even if the series's fanbase is absolutely horrible.

When it comes to the last guy, he actually has some rights xD Spirits mode REALLY is how he described it – game puts you at a disadvantage against high level enemy/enemies and if you do not have spirits of required strenght, you will be tossed through the screen like a volleyball without a single second of free time to do an attack. I admit, some of the fights really were interestingly set up and were fun, but most were just as described above.
What I find idiotic about this review though, is how the guy ignored every other aspect of the game xD Like… core gameplay being the best ever, the most characters ever seen in a fighting game, the best Classic mode ever and the options and settings available to the players. Spirit mode really is not that great though. -

Nintendo doesn't show the game because they don't have anything to show yet (Metroid) = bad.
Nintendo may show a CGI trailer of Metroid early next year = bad, no gameplay.
Naughty shows CGI of how they hope the game to look like or how they think gameplay will see = good.

January 9, 2019Honestly spirits is great yet just disgusting at the same time. Fun, but around 20 fights are just some of the most bullshit RNG shit I’ve ever seen. Gotten to Giga bowser? HIS HITBOXES ARE STILLLLLLL BROKEN. Tried the Ho Oh fight? Don’t. There are so many broken and retarded spirit fights it kinda pissing me off. Almost like spirits was NEVER play-tested.
