January 7, 2019the games aren't meant to look modern it's a retro throwback console, meant to replicate the classic console. also some of these probably will get remastered anyway. it's a throwbaack piece, enjoy it as such

January 7, 2019Complaining about the graphic engine is kinda…dumb.
It's the first playstation so of course the graphics aren't as great compared to today's unreal engines etc. But that's why it's a classic (even though this version of the ps1 is a missed opportunity).
Hopefully the soundtracks don't skip like how the first ps1 systems use to do.

January 7, 2019You forgot to mention that some games use Pal versions instead of the NTSC which create a 10 frame gap, making some games hardly playable.

January 7, 2019It's ridiculous why this console "needs" a PS1 emulator if it is really a PS1. It should run games with just a bios and standard software like the original. Even the PSP can run games without such emulator. I suspect they just throw in a hybrid raspberry with some usb controller and call it a classic.

Well seems wait for the PS 2 classic .Like comes to the day of buying ,Since that is my first real console. that played ,Or go purchase the Super N.E.S ,In which never owned but friends that did ! and the PS 2 had a great series. of games ,From way back in the day .
