Who I trust with my time is important to me. When all is said and done, the only real currency you have in life is your time. Don't waste it on people who don't value it.

I've been reading the newly published Fire and Blood which describes the history of Targaryens, my theory comes from specifically during the rule of King Jaehearys I.
in a summary of events, Princess Aerea, daughter of RhaenaTargaryen had been missing missing for over a year after fleeing her Mother and taking Balerion the Black Dread and fleeing.
despite King Jaehaery's sending word to all of westeros to inform on possible sightings, agents sent east for word of Balerion or his Niece, they had simply disappeared."on 13th day of the 4th moon of 56 AC" Balerion returned to Kings Landing a gravely ill Aerea, within following day Aerea was dead after the unknown affliction was treated to by Septon Birth and Grand Maester Benifer, the reasoning given was fever, however Septon Birth wrote in his personal account that Aerea had suffered an excrucciating death with her bloodied eyes popping like cracked heads. the significance of this was not the fever, it was the Twisted Worm like creatures the burst through her flesh, the septon described these creatures as "worms with faces, snakes with hands"
After Princess Area's death the question arose of where they travelled and where they had been. there are many theory's however the measters suggestion was that since Balerion was the only creature to of known Valyria before the Doom, and his lack of a Rider strong enough to control him, the Dragon flew to his ancient home with the princess on his back.
Whereas im not quite sure on how dragon eggs are produced, i believe it may be possible for the 3 eggs given to Dany at her wedding to Drogo may have been Balerions off spring from hundreds of years prior.
