December 26, 2018Everyone looks super hyped from the comments but not me. This is totally not what I expected this game to be from the first teaser. I hoped it would have a much darker atmosphere and feel to it. I hope I'm wrong though. Gotta wait for the gameplay footage.

December 26, 2018I have been looking forward to this since it was first announced. I am really hoping it doesn't suck. I could have really done without the terrible narration and the silly justification as why people stay in a hell hole. In the real world the reasons are numerous including the fact you're too socioeconomically disadvantaged to move. I am worried that this will lack the intelligence and social commentary that makes Deus Ex as a series so good. I like style but it needs substance. This game better have depth.

December 26, 2018Character creation or are you pretty much stuck with playing as the narrator guy? I know making a custom character can typically lead to "silent protagonist" storylines, but Bethesda managed pretty well with Fallout 4. In the end, however, you tend to imagine your protagonist being very different from what the devs have in mind, so "silent protagonist" often works best anyway. xD
