Backed $100. Really hyped for it. With that said, it looks like a really well done mobile game, or late era PS2 game.

Not really digging the 2.5d style, but it looks great regardless
ReplyWhy does it has to b some chick in a mini skirt i mean it so cliche …idk but the pre teen adult demon slayin school uniform wearing heroin..is old and played out soo early 2000s if u ask me …..im not buying it im sorry ..ooo and yea it looks like a psp game 😂😂😂….and castlevania is too old of a game to not deserve fresh ideas or not to b a triple A title Like the metal gear series.. no survivor … you cant say it would better if it was 2d nt 3rd or 3d nt 2d …wen it boils down to it ..its the devs fault tbh
ReplySo freaking excited!! This is my most anticipated game right now and will probably remain as such until it's release.
ReplyWow, this looks pretty bad… The 3D art and animations look like college-student-tier stuff and feel very stiff and lifeless. It's like a soulless version of Castlevania SotN. Maybe what made SotN so great was that it was made with meticulously crafted expert-level pixel art when this was just modeled by some 3D artists that look like they just went straight from college to social/mobile games to this. Of course, I'm sure a bunch of fanboys will jump down my throat for pointing out how bad this looks; it's no surprise how rabid the fanboys are for this considering how much it's pandering to the weeb demographic, too. Looks like utter shit overall. If you want to waste your time and money on something like this then you probably deserve it… but don't pretend like you have good taste; this is a pale shadow of the great games that it's trying to cash in on.

ReplyMan, this looks great. Still kinda disappointed it went with the 2.5D approach and 3D models over 2D sprites, though. But 3D is cheaper to produce nowadays and processing power is abundant, so it kinda was to be expected.
